Large Dent Removal – the rules have changed

After returning from a successful training trip to the USA, Dan Besau (the owner of DentRepairs) is fortunate enough to make DentRepairs one of the first companies in the UK to include pneumatic tooling as part of the dent removal process.

Paintless Dent Removal originated in the USA back in the 1970s but didn’t really hit the UK until the late 1980s / early 1990s.  The Americans are the leaders in PDR, so we use our international contacts and relationships built up over years in the trade to ensure that we are at the forefront of technology here in the UK.

This tooling is relatively new and involves a larger vehicle in order to be able to carry out the repairs on a mobile basis.  We have just purchased a new Mercedes van to carry the additional equipment required (inverter, compressors, etc).

Air fed tooling enables us to repair much larger dents on site (eg roof dents), and ensures a much smoother finish to the repaired vehicle – as well as a quicker repair.

Keep an eye on our website over the coming months for new before/after images showing what can and cannot be repaired – the rules have now changed!
